ABOUT VINCE

Vince Rapisura has been teaching microfinance and social entrepreneurship at the Ateneo de Manila Univesrity for the past 13 years. He established SEDPI, a social enterprise that provides financial literacy trainings to low-income OFWs in 15 countries worldwide. Since 2004, SEDPI has trained more than 30,000 individuals and has managed social investments close to PhP300 million. SEDPI’s experience has been shared in various international conferences held in India, Israel, Italy, Myanmar, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Thailand, Spain and Vietnam. For his work, Vince received awards from Ernst and Young in 2012 and from Price WaterhouseVoopers in 2015. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management from the Ateneo de Manila and a Master in Entrepreneurship from the Asian Institute of Management.

#USAPANGPERA: MGA TIPS SA PAGYAMAN WITH SIR VINCE

After two successful seasons Usapang Pera, Sir Vince comes back for another season to talk more about money management with multi-awarded journalist, Atom Araullo.

Sir Vince shares with Atom Araullo his tips, hacks and act ual experiences when it comes to saving, investing and choosing the right insurance. Atom relates to these and wished he had known Sir Vince earlier to come up with better financial decisions.

Usapang Pera’s first two seasons featured beauty queens, Venus Raj and Nicole Cordoves; as well as the “Catwalk King” Sinon Loresca. Previous episodes talked about how to maximize income; how to say “no” to family members, migration process, debt management, maximizing government-mandated benefits and financial planning among others.

The show garnered cumulative views of 20 million, a respectable reach for an online talkshow that promotes financial literacy. It is delivered in Filipino and uses practical and real-life examples to explain financial concepts that typically intimidate many.
